Chapter 1 Galaxies of peace
Captains Log Stardate 47632.7 The Budapest and The Paris are travelling at
maximum trans warp to reach a part of the Triangulum galaxy, NGC 598 a large
portion of the Triangulum galaxy we hope to reach it within 3 weeks, what we
are doing to pass the time is use the holodecks and chat at 10 forward End
Log “That’s it, that’s it, I
fold” exaggerated Capt. Lakatos as he put his cards down, “Too bad Captain, I
raise my bet by 3 strips of gold pressed Latinum” said Capt. Dennee taking 3
strips of Latinum out of his pocket and placing it on the table, “Dennee? Since
when do you play poker with Latinum, I mean this isn’t Tongo” asked Lakatos
promptly, “Captain, I do believe that Cmdr. DeCoste and Lt. Cmdr. Krag would
like to continue, so please get back in the game….. Starting bets are 5 strips
of Latinum” Exclaimed Dennee as he reset the poker table. *Red Alert Red Alert
all senior staff to the bridge Red Alert* an intercom beeped, Dennee and
Lakatos both jumped up and back flipped and disappeared and moments later
appeared on the bridge “What is it Cmdr. O’Brien?” Asked Lakatos in a weary
voice, “Oh Capt. It’s all quite normal except for an unknown ship scanning the
ships” said O’Brien, “Green Alert, damage report Mr. O’Brien by 2154 hrs, we
have to let them scan us, Lt. Hellard Open a channel” Ordered Lakatos. The
channel was open to the unknown ship everybody was hoping for the universal
translator to work “This is Capt. Adam Lakatos of the Federation Starship
Budapest-““And Capt. Dennee of the federation starship Paris” Said Dennee,
Lakatos continued “-Yes thank you Will, we come in peace from the Milky Way
Galaxy, we are explorers, we have received a 372 year old distress call and we
just want to explore and investigate” Lakatos finished, “I am Hirashu Itasina,
of the interstellar ship Linous, we have travelled many times to the Milky way
to pick up cargo, the distress call you are referring to, the civilization that
sent it was destroyed moments later, we still do not know how it was destroyed
we could use any help, and for your logs, our species name is Phosphtalen and
we can bring dead people back to life good as new if you need our services
anytime just contact us.
Chapter 2: The Years before
The Budapest and Paris were orbiting a small moon where the Linous was docked;
Lakatos was chatting with Dennee as a he heard the door chime “Come in” Lakatos
said, Lt. Jake Wilson and Lt. Brad Kerschbaum walked in with an padd in each
hand, “Captain Lakatos and Dennee we have found something in sub space while we
were doing long range scans, there is some residue of a sort of Quantum Drive,
mixed with a high residue of instant travel incident” Started Wilson as
Kerschbaum added “With your permission we would like to take on a project to
take a shuttle and scan the areas and try to locate the starting point of the
Quantum drive and instant travel residues”, Lakatos thought for 3 minutes, he
considered it, then Dennee interrupted “Lakatos, it’s a good idea you just have
to upgrade the shuttle and have a security officer go with them” , “Ok Ok, they
said they could bring back dead persons, I’ll have them bring back Cmdr. Belton
and he can go with you, Dismissed” Kerschbaum and Wilson left the room as
Lakatos contacted the Linous and asked them to bring back Lt. Cmdr. Sean
Belton, so Lakatos would have that 2nd officer and if anything went wrong, then
Lakatos would have to find a new Second officer under Cmdr. DeCoste, The door
chimed and Belton walked in “Now Sean, for this mission you can wear civilian
uniform with combadge or you can wear your regular uniform” Lakatos stopped,
“Captain thank you for bringing me back after the explosion, and thank you for
letting me be second officer I will graciously do this mission and I will bring
them back alive” Belton finished, Lakatos nodded his head in gratitude as
Belton turned around and left.
Chapter 3 Shuttles and Ships
Capt. Dennee walked onto the bridge; the bridge was deserted as all the crew
was on free time, but Cmdr. Hetu was sitting in his chair staring at the view
screen thinking about what was going to happen, “Having a good time Wesley?”
asked Dennee, “oh Captain, I was just thinking, you know how fast we are going
to go home and stuff” said Hetu, “Well you can always use my private holodeck
to oh say be home?” said Dennee, “Since when do you have a holodeck” asked
Hetu, “Since we got the Paris- A, and I suspect Lakatos has one too” said
Dennee. Back on the Budapest Leftenants Wilson and Kerschbaum and Cmdr. Belton
got aboard a modified shuttle that can detect the slightest disturbance in
subspace, “This is Cmdr. Belton of the shuttle craft Veszprem, permission to
depart” said Belton, “Permission granted Cmdr. Have a safe journey” Lt. Hellard
said, the shuttle launched and warp 1 light year away and started they’re
search.
